Pressure Cleaning Nambour
Nambour was established in 1870 and is located 104 km north of Brisbane and 13 km west of Maroochydore, in the Sunshine Coast Region.
Nambour relates to “naamba”, an Aboriginal word for the Red Flowing Bottlebrush.
Tom Petrie, an adventurer and explorer, son of Brisbane pioneer Andrew Petrie, travelled to the area in 1862. He was interested in the cedar growing there, and connected with the Aborigines in the area.
In 1879, not long after Nambour was established, a provisional school was opened. It was renamed Nambour State School in 1897. The Nambour State High School opened in 1953.
Nambour is linked by rail to Brisbane in the south, and the rail line continues northwards to Cairns.
There are opportunities to participate in various sports in Nambour, including Soccer, Tennis, Golf, Rugby League, Rigby Union, Netball. The Nambour Aquatic Centre has heated pools all year round.
Nambour has a very comfortable “Queensland” type climate, with an average 104 days of rain per year.

Before we go any further, we just want to state that when people think of pressure cleaning, they often think of someone pointing a powerful high-pressure water jet at whatever surface they want cleaned. The thing is, not all surfaces are suitable for that type of cleaning; some surfaces require a gentler touch. Which is why we also provide what is known as the Soft Wash process for surfaces that might get damaged from the water jets. Instead of high pressure water jets, we use environmentally friendly chemicals, which break down the dirt and contaminants, before a low pressure water rinse washes it all away. Please check out our home or service pages for more information.
Dirty exteriors lower your home’s kerb appeal, and in the process, lower your property value. And if mould has taken root on your exteriors, this can also affect you and your family’s health. Whether using a high pressure cleaner or the Soft Wash process, we can get your exteriors back to looking their absolute best.
People want to have confidence in any business they work with. They want to know that they are going to be looked after well, and not forgotten or ignored. A business needs to project that confidence to their customers. Well maintained, clean exteriors, pathways, driveways and parking lots help do that, because they show that a business cares for the little things, the small details. And that helps customers believe that the business will care for them, as well. Project your confidence and professionalism by ensuring that your exterior surfaces are clean.
People often don’t think about cleaning their roof. They think that because it gets rained on, that’s enough. But it isn’t. When algae and lichen and fungus forms on your roof, they can soak in water and cause quite a bit of damage to your roof. If the algae et all is located within tile cracks, then when it soaks up water it can break the tiles. Cleaning your roof with either a high pressure water jet or a Soft Wash chemical process can remove all dirt, grime, algae and lichen from your roof.
A dirty driveway doesn’t help your property’s kerb appeal, and particularly if you are planning on selling your house, your property’s kerb appeal is important. Oil that has dripped from cars for years soaks into the concrete, turning it dark and stained, and rainwater flowing over the concrete often leaves dirt and vegetation behind on your concrete and deposited in the cracks. If left alone, mould and moss can form in the cracks, and when rain comes, the moss soaks up the water, swelling in size and increasing the width of the cracks. Pressure cleaning your driveway can help improve your properties’ kerb appeal for sale, and lessen the need for driveway crack repairs.
Your fence needs to stand up against all of nature’s forces; the sun beating down on it, the rain and wind blasting it. It’s not surprising that, over time, particularly if your fence is wooden (but not only then), the fence starts looking dull and worn down. A fence cleaning can bring your fence back to how it used to be. And if you just want to repaint it, a high pressure cleaning will ensure that you have a clean base to start with.
If you don’t look after your patios and decks, quite soon they can change from being the place you enjoyed spending those lazy afternoon days with friends and family, to being the place you keep your friends and family from. Mould and mildew, dirt and grime can change the look, feel, and smell of your patios and decks, but a pressure clean can revert them back to what they used to be. If you want your patios and decks to become a place of gatherings again, please call us.
At SC Pressure Cleaning, we look forward to serving you soon. Please contact us to see how we can help you.
